Vessel Bathroom Upgrade & Plumbing Modernization
Context & Client Type
Operating in the demanding marine and industrial environment of Warri, Delta State, this project involves upgrading the sanitation infrastructure aboard a working commercial vessel. Marine plumbing requires highly specialized engineering capable of withstanding constant motion, heavy vibration, and the uniquely corrosive effects of a saline, maritime environment.
The Problem
The vessel's existing bathroom facilities were experiencing frequent pressure drops and drainage backups due to aging pipes and continuous vibrations at sea. The challenge for our team is executing a complete modernization within the heavily confined spaces of a ship's hull, ensuring all new fixtures and supply lines are vibration-resistant and marine-grade, all while the vessel is docked for a limited maintenance window.
